STOP THE LINUX, block all filesharer's, get FIREFOX (and WINDOWS VISTA)

windows vista desktop

screenshot from new WINDOWS DESKTOP. programs like acrobat reader and cyber DVD (dvd player) say that they have compatibility issue, but they still can be used. i guess they are not native 64bit applications!

however, since i am a programmer, after experience of new MSDN, and VISUAL STUDIO 2008, all i can say about the LINUX is that the lack of documentation is slanderous. OK maybe i missed to download the right packages (i tried 3 different LINUX in the past years). but naturally, they do not have commercial interest to maintain a complete, standartized, and accurate API documentation. people form open source will add stuff now and then, as they like, but there is no guarantee that it is bundled the way you want (or need) it. so for me personally, it is unlikely i will ever touch LINUX again.

should you use FIREFOX? online, i have to sometimes. maybe they install IE (internet explorer) bugs on purpose, to make people use FIREFOX. for instance, sometimes i can not sign in using IE. but i do not really believe they do this officially. and FIREFOX is not distributed under GPL, you do not have to agree to GPL to use it. the truth is that i go to internet shop to use internet, people can not really get into the home via the net. but this is not suitable for everyone, in the countryside they maybe need to access internet via home connection. use detachable modem maybe! i use internet explorer (bad thing: if you try to save web pages, after a few times, it will penalize you with long inactivity). and firefox has better print module. if there are bugs in IE, i use FIREFOX sometimes.

i do not think the question is if FIREFOX can replace IE, but if it is good if there are possible alternative programs, offering different features, or they can use if the original software will crash. a strange thing about LINUX i have read yesterday: "viruses would just sit around (under LINUX), and do nothing". i think this attitude is dangerous over long time. here the URL where i found it:
http://blog.eukhost.com/web-hosting/windows-web-hosting/

also i used FreeBSD webhosting, at YAHOO US, a while ago, i do not use it anymore, because i do not want to agree to GPL. this is compulsory for the MySQL. it was never too buggy, just sometimes locally it was impossible to access the website, i think overseas, it was always possible, they wrote to me it would be related to my ISP. however, this occured like using a pattern- regularily, for no visible reason. also they offer PHPNUKE, which is obviously broken. this appears unserious, and was decision-making not to use YAHOO US webhosting anymore. recently they switched to unlimited webhosting, but they also say, they will "measure" it, and will "limit" the growth. this is also unserious, because they do not give any quota, they just write "unlimited", but it is not true. so they should give the quota the old way.

STOP ALL FILESHARERS

what is filesharing? it is using systems like bearshare, limewire, or morpheus. they do not run very fast using free edition, you get 10 to 20kbyte/second. but the system can be used for files upto 100s of megabytes, also some people use "bit torrent", capable of gigabytes. maybe it takes 4 days to download a DVD movie, i can not verify this personally. i do not think sharing a few mp3 songs is "filesharing", if you also own commercial CDs, and movie DVDs. but copying DVDs using LINUX copy editions, or via internet bit torrent is theft, and "file sharing". i think GNU, LINUX and the like encourage it, or at least, they do not really countermeasure it.

I do not depend on such services, indeed, i do not use them at all. when i want to see movie, i go to shop, and buy DVD. so they should take a look at file trasnsfers in 100s of megabytes, or gigabytes range, if it is personal data (people can do this if they want to), or copies from commercial DVDs.

block all filesharer's (hit or miss?) get firefox (and windows vista)

personally, for home computer, i do not need FIREFOX, and do not want to install it. however, online it is sometimes practical to have it. i can not verify if they invented IE bugs, to make people use FIREFOX. i also can not exclude it, because being unable even to sign in using IE is strange. but i think, it depends on the system settings, for cookies. also this occurs just sometimes, not each day. i do not think the settings ever change. so right now, i use FIREFOX sometimes.

i do not see it as replacement, but additional, alternative software solution. similar to various players for obscure audio formats, such as C64, .MOD music, and midi, i do not always want to use windows media player. well this was situation on old WIN98SE, new media player is much more comfortable. but it is including features like "library", sort by artist, which i do not really want to use. i use directories for my mp3, recently i have moved all mp3 into one directory. this does not mean i uninstall media player, no, i like it. but also i use additional software to play media files. so i think the EU issues not to bundle media player are strange. people can install additional software as much as they like, media player is just a common standard, and i think, most people will install it (guess 80 to 90 percent). OK it is true, the surface is made for "users", not "admininistrators", or "programmers". so it does not fit everyone for every purpose. but people do not have to start it? i think, maybe these EU judges never used a computer, they do not really understand file, directory, program, desktop. maybe some of them do. but maybe some of them are out-of-this world, so they think, people MUST USE MEDIA PLAYER, AND CAN NOT START ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE. that is what i believe. OK people also can uninstall software, when it comes to private files, they seem to be very clever of skills how to get rid of such data. strange world...according to...

new asian food...

asian food

this is new food i do not know!

-ginko nuts dessert

-fish meat cakes

-soy bean cookie preparation (slightly sweet)

previously i have used flickr for "blogging", because it allows tagging, comments, and the like.

but some of my pictures did not receive much attention. my most favourite picture is Kim Jong Il from north Korea (guest at my flickr stream).

Well...i have uploaded it for that purpose...months ago. People will "know" my politics- but actually, i do not believe this system would be good for other countries.

For instance, in the US they like commerce, and advertising, and i also like advertising! so what. actually i am against free software, i do not say no free "tools", like 7ZIP, but things like open office and LINUX. Did you know in Venezuela they now use LINUX free software? Quite strange since they are "oil rich". For instance, since money is only paper, it is sort of strange to let people work without money, to have a society without money.

If you use "free" software, you thrive towards a society, where people do not have money, maybe the state gives them them what they need for free.

OK the money notes are an acknowledgement, from the government, or the company, that someone worked. Their purpose is not to let become a few people rich (that is argumentation sometimes found to be used by political groups). NO. the money is a control function, since production requires energy, logistics and research, and consume can not be unlimited without work. this would be a lazy society. so the money is instroduced, to measure the work, and to measure the flow of goods.

There are natural feedback systems like stocks, banks, international trade, merchants chains. Also sometimes they break down, and recover again.

If you argue, capitalists just want to get rich, make money, and give nothing to consumers, then you argue at low-level.

It is true, and i want to close the entry, that there is some exploitation. however, it is fuelled by consumers making choices, asking for cheap goods, and luxury foods. if you buy foreign foods, always ask, can the native population afford what you are going to eat (for instance, large prawns very often). It is not just that you are capable to buy them or not, it is the feedback chains, which will wind up prices, for instance.

So if you are social, you buy "ethical", ask if the native people can have it, if it is even available to them. at least, show some understanding. this is "socialism", without party membership, without to belong to political leaders (i do not really belong to Kim). SOCIALISM means SOCIAL. what political groups are often doing is "socialism by words", but "chauvinism by deeds". i do not know, if Chavez from Venezuela is a "chauvinist". However, i consider it slanderous to use LINUX everywhere- in factories, in the government, in the military. Since it is not an innovative system.

If there is no feedback in form of commerce, there will be little motivation to improve the system. this means, in other words, they will use coal fires at home, at 300 percent the consumption, compared to US american modern system. Maybe the LINUX guys see it differently. I have experienced LINUX myself, and i can say, much slower, at least, slower, than WINDOWS98SE.

The food is shown, that i do not want unlimited luxury for myself. I want "social" consume, "moderate" luxury- think if the people who must make it for you also can have it. do not think if you can just buy it- your rich-ness might be temporary...But also, i do not like the "shabby". It is OK if companies "make money" as they like, do advertising, and so on.

I write this because various socialist groups put up propaganda here in IRELAND. All of it was very unconstructive statements, to put metal bars into the cogwheels of the industry. I do not like it. If it continues, i take pictures, and show them on the internet. Well i think, they have a few percent here in IRELAND, 3 or 5 percent, but keep an eye to it. they are not on the SCIENCE FICTION strains, but pretty much on labour strike, and it is unknown, if they offer any idea to global questions, or want to show their private lifestyle.

they also have a website...i am busy right now, but keep it in mind, check again at some point of time. I am not one of them!

But also, i want to be "social" individual, not to use "internet anonymity", but fairly communicate the truth as i experience it. Think i do not go to ALDI and LIDL...it is all sugar and alcohol foods...at least, too much to my taste. Is it OK to write that i do not frequent these supermarket chains? that i do not go to McDonnalts, but prefer BURGE KING? to be honest, i do not go there very often.

working at 4bits command centre

4bit command centre, including RTC and LCD display. 6 PIC chips!

this is the 4bits command centre, RTC and LCD are shown!
the master PIC has 512 program words, and now is nearly full.
i want to add macro recording feature. but there is little memory remaining.
first i must finish serial communications.
i am going to test the LED bargraph first.
i wrote send routine a few hours ago.
it is including programmed delay for each bit, since the loops run on different devices!
and there is also timeout-detection.
after timeout has occured, next command be sent (to different device).
if no timeout occurs, more data words can be sent!
so you see, it is a feature, not an error condition.
but the amount of data is not unlimited.
there are two sections, 8bit timer is used, one below 80h, and one above 80h.
the serial transfer happens directly after zero cross.
first, the PIC will produce a long clock signal, to allow the slaves to enter receive mode...

it sounds difficult, and actually it is. but i know all details now, to complete the programs.
i hope for a demo video soon!

also i write at other comunities, for instance HATENA JAPAN, they use the "LAMP" (LINUX) technology right now.
well they had trouble with their web rings, and plan to close down the feature.

there are so many strange people out there.

16F54 4bit command centre

this is a command centre for 16F54 devices. this PIC provides 512 program words, and 25 bytes RAM. they are connected via serial bus.

the keys are fully debounced, and processed in the background. for this reason, the delay in the LED updated, which is programmed.

the keyscan and LED update simply happen at different frequency!

what i am doing right now...

i have installed new 64BIT WINDOWS recently, for this purpose, i built new AMD ATHLON 64BIT system.
most components are from old WIN98SE PENTIUMIII system, except 1GB DDR memory.

it works very fast, i do not want my old system back, or linux (http://d.hatena.ne.jp/tetsu-jp/20080320)

now my current activity:

i have read in VISUAL STUDIO documentation, that machine language is now not incorporated anymore.
for 64BIT, intrinsics are used, if required. but they do not include the usual 8086/MMX instruction set.
the processors still support it, but only for compability reasons.

i am missing it...for this reason, i have learned RISC machine language on PIC.
these are small microcontrollers, for instance the 16F54, 512 instruction words!

this is a MOTOROLA 68000 microprocessor. right now, i write an assembler using VISUAL STUDIO, VISUAL BASIC.
yes...is it possible to use BASIC for such software? with 1GB memory, and 3000+ virtual MHz, it is.
i plan to create a virtual machine capable to use the WINDOWS GDI.
then people can create 68K assembly programs, and they can run on the virtual machine.
actions can be restricted externally...
the 68000 was a processor with 16mbyte address space, 32bit registers, and designed for home automation.
introduced by motorola in the year 1979!

here also youtube demo video for 8x8 LED matrix, using a 16F54 PIC.

i use new MPLAB 8.02, and WINDOWS SERVER ENTERPRISE (64BIT).

it was a bit tricky to install printer...for instance, it was required to unpack the .EXE supplied on the CD.

then WINDOWS was able to use the files set to install the HP1470 printer. the software from CD noticed that this version is "incompatible". but anyway, print works fine now. well...i do not print very much to be honest. it is just useful sometimes, instead of flipping pages all the time.

have you seen my groups on MSN?

http://groups.msn.com/picsystems my PIC projects

http://groups.msn.com/flickrnike6 things i do not like, such as LINUX. i have created this because of actual bad experiences.

Originally a few years ago, in the year 2003, i wanted to create game software...i made contact with unlicensed SEGA manuals, which i did not want to use. now i have built my own 68K computer- no one stopping me from that. this was the CPU used for instance for the SEGA MEGADRIVE! also i have taken a look some 3D programming books, and many japanese websites. however, the age of classical television game consoles ended in the early 1990s. What i do no now is not so much hacking, scripting, or riddeling about operating systems, but more to build small computer systems, including virtual 4-bit machine (a system using 16F54 PIC on a bus, serial interface, can address upto 16 devices). you say, OK, that's already there, and it is called I2C. yes. but usually people do not connect 3,4,5 or more PIC for a small system. they use C, and pack everything into one larger PIC. my approach is to re-use the small 16F54 modules once they are built- in hardware!

right now on new computer i am not so much interested in web developement, or C++, but i do programming in VISUAL BASIC, it is very convenient, it just lets me do things, and i do not need to riddle about cryptic syntax. i like this new VISUAL STUDIO, and hope to complete the 68K ASSEMBLER soon (as i call it, "tetsu's 68K machine language translator).

i do maintain many blogs, and diaries...this is the first entry here on msn spaces! i have searched about mobile phones on the net, which can use windows, because i figured out JAVA is now GPL'ed (what an un-word, or un-term). i do not want to be GPL'ed, so i want to get rid of my SONY ERICSSON JAVA PHONE the sooner the better. i do not understand this crazy move from SUN SYSTEMS, and what can be found on their website, reads very strange. most consumers even do not know these things, they do not sign a license for the binary. for instance, there is opera mini on my sony phone, including link to wikip., and i also want to get rid of that the sooner the better.

i do not know if my virtual 68K system will have implications, since i could also go "open source", maybe people like BASIC? anyway i will take action, so it will have some impact maybe. a virtual machine can always be more controlled, or restricted, than direct binary code. if the emulator encounters illegal code, it can stop, it can log events, and it will not crash the system. well...you need 20 emulator MHz for one real MHz- in the best case.

maybe in some years INTEL 8086 machine language will have disappeared- and people will use 68K assembly on virtual machine. not to say, JAVA will also vanish soon. don't tell this to people working at SUN- it will not make them smile. no- i liked JAVA- a lot- before i read about the GPL liason. why i do not like GPL: read here. most people will take distance once they encounter the truth. also, consumers do not know what they execute on their phones. if they only would know!ttp://groups.msn.com/flickrnike6/donotusegplsoftware.msnw i wrote this, before reading the JAVA website! believe it or not, i called it "class experiment". actually they use this term for real in the license explanation! not class experiment, no, class exception. i am not sure about that...but i am a superstitious man.
